BAv Lawyers Speak at DCVI's 2nd Legal & Compliance Conference on Antitrust and AML

Our Managing Partner, Syafrullah Hamdi, and our Associate, Faraz Rachmat A., were invited by PT Daimler Commercial Vehicles Indonesia (DCVI) to speak at the exclusive DCVI's 2nd Legal & Compliance Conference, delivering a masterclass on Antitrust and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).

We are honored to share that our Managing Partner, Syafrullah Hamdi, and our Associate, Faraz Rachmat A., were recently invited by PT Daimler Commercial Vehicles Indonesia (DCVI), the Indonesian arm of the global giant Daimler Truck AG, to speak at the exclusive DCVI’s 2nd Legal & Compliance Conference. The event was held on 15 September 2025 at the Mövenpick Hotel, Central Jakarta.

Our lawyers led the main session, titled “Legal Overview of Antitrust and Anti-Money Laundering (AML)”. As DCVI’s trusted legal partner, we reinforced the perspective on Antitrust and AML, as key components of the compliance framework for a global industry leader, which are reflected in Daimler Truck’s Code of Conduct and Business Partners Standards. We also delivered a masterclass on the enforcement landscape and practical approaches to preventing critical Antitrust and AML risks in Indonesia. This topic was pivotal in guiding Indonesia’s top DCVI commercial dealers to strengthen corporate integrity, ensure fair competition across their national network, and avoid potential AML practices in dealership transactions.

The conference gathered more than 100 leaders representing Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Buses dealers across Indonesia. We were delighted to share the stage with distinguished speakers, namely Mr. Naeem Hassim (President Director of DCVI) and Mrs. Gianti Erbiana (Head of Legal and Compliance of DCVI).
